As a Counselors-In-Training (CIT) you will gain valuable experience working with professional environmental educators and children. Assist the staff by helping to prepare, lead and clean up camp activities.

  Interested CIT’s should fill our application online at or call for more information.

• The program is open to students aged 13 -18 years old.

• CIT’s must be available for

  • Training on June 6 & 27

  • 2 weeks during the summer.

• The CIT volunteer schedule is 8:30 am - 4:30 pm (Monday - Friday)

• Volunteer hours are often used for school community service requirements.

• Space is limited.

   • The prospective CIT needs to complete this application and submit it to 313 Hudson Avenue, Tenafly NJ 07670

   • If you chose not to use Acrobat reader an application can be requested by email or by calling us at 201-568-6093

   • After registering you will receive a confirmation packet which will include your acceptance letter and the following forms.  Please complete and return all the necessary forms before the first day of training on June 6:

     • Medical Form

     • Sunscreen, Photo, & Carpool Release Form

     • Alternate pickup form

   • Returning CIT's need to only submit a letter of intent which includes the dates of the two camp sessions they prefer.
