Sponsor a Species

New Jersey is the most densely populated state in America, so education is a key component in the protection of our state's natural side. Our educational programs for schools, scouts, and people of all ages are presented throughout Northern New Jersey to over 12,000 children and adults each year.

TNC is home for a small collection of animals, native to New Jersey, from raptors to reptiles.  These animals cannot be released into the wild for a variety of reasons, so they are used to help educate people of all ages about the needs of our local wildlife and the importance of protecting their habitats.

You can help care for these individuals by aiding in the cost of their upkeep. Your contribution assists the center in providing food, improving enclosures, necessary medical care, and supporting staff time for their care.

In addition to the satisfaction of supporting an animal's life you will receive:

  • 2 free passes to one of TNC's seasonal family programs
    (series & camps not included)

  • A Certificate of Sponsorship

  • A Photograph of your sponsored animal(s)

  • Recognition in our quarterly Tenafly Nature Center NEWS

  • Your sponsored animal's story

  • A brief overview of the animal's Natural History.

Birthday Party Special:
