An elegant afternoon honoring Life Members
On March 10th, Tenafly Nature Center supporters gathered for a fundraising experience at TNC’s Legacy Brunch. Held at Brasserie Memere in Closter, TNC honored 27 Life Members who have provided crucial funding for the organization’s long-term maintenance and growth.
Life memberships are one-time gifts to TNC’s endowment. All donors to the endowment have one thing in common; they want to ensure the nature center and its mission are here to serve future generations. This feels particularly meaningful as we consider the organization’s history over the last 60+ years, and look at the impact and legacy the nature center will have in the decades to come.
Executive Director, Debora Davidson, presented the honors, highlighting the importance of the honorees’ contributions, as well as an overview of preliminary plans for TNC’s newest initiative to redevelop the Yellow Trail as an accessible trail, broadening access to nature for all TNC visitors.

Tenafly Nature Center looks forward to honoring our Life Members and supporters who have helped nurture our mission to preserve our natural environment and provide environmental education and recreation opportunities for future generations. Proceeds from this special event will help TNC continue to carry out its mission and grow to meet the rising needs of our community and beyond.
Tenafly Nature Center encompasses almost 400 acres of undeveloped land with over seven miles of trails which are enjoyed by over 50,000 people annually. TNC also provides over 1,700 environmental educational programs to over 38,000 people annually. With your help, the Tenafly Nature Center can continue its work for generations to come.
