If you plan to visit Tenafly Nature Center with a group of 10 or more people and do not wish to schedule a guided program, please complete and submit the form below to schedule your self-guided visit.
This helps us ensure trail access and a positive experience for all visitors.
To help support our small, member-supported non-profit, we ask for a $2 per person admission donation for non-members. Your contribution directly supports trail maintenance and nature preservation for future visitors.
Plan Your Visit
Tenafly Nature Center is open year-round, with trails accessible one hour after sunrise until one hour before sunset.
Our Visitor Center is open daily from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM (please note that facilities may be closed on holidays or during scheduled programs).

While Tenafly Nature Center is not a zoo, we do care for a small collection of permanently injured, non-releasable animals that serve as our Animal Ambassadors.
