Apple Cider Making
Press Your Own Cider at Tenafly Nature Center!
Get ready for a hands-on, deliciously fun experience for the whole family! Join us this fall as we turn crisp apples into fresh, homemade cider, just like they did in the old days. We’ll supply the apples and the press, you bring the energy (and maybe a few apples of your own if you’d like… more apples = more cider!).
While you’re pressing cider, you’ll also uncover the fascinating history of apple cultivation and traditional cider making. It’s learning, tasting, and making memories all in one unique outdoor adventure.
All ages welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult. In case of inclement weather, the program will be held under cover. Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
