Raise a glass under the stars at Tenafly Nature Center’s Campfire & Cocktails, our signature fall fundraiser where nature, community, and celebration come together for an unforgettable evening in the forest.
Step into a woodland wonderland illuminated by crackling campfires. Sip handcrafted cocktails, savor seasonal small bites, and enjoy live music surrounded by the crisp autumn air. Reconnect with old friends, make new ones, and relax in a beautiful natural setting, all while supporting the work of Tenafly Nature Center.

Tickets are limited, non-refundable, and considered a donation. If extreme weather requires the event to be rescheduled, tickets will be valid for the new date.
The parking lot will be closed for this event; however, complimentary valet service will be available at the cul-de-sac (at 313 Hudson Ave), allowing guests to avoid walking up the steep incline of Hudson Avenue to reach TNC.

On Saturday, September 13th, the woods at Tenafly Nature Center glowed with firelight and laughter as almost 200 adults and 40 children gathered for Campfire & Cocktails, TNC’s annual fall fundraiser. The evening blended rustic charm with festive energy, bringing together neighbors and friends to celebrate and support nature.
The weather could not have been more perfect. With clear skies, crisp air, and just the right hint of autumn, the forest felt magical and inviting. Guests mingled beneath the TNC pavilions and around the campfire, sipping wines, ciders, craft beers, and sparkling seltzers. A highlight of the night was the Hive & Honey mobile bar, serving up artfully crafted cocktails that paired perfectly with a delicious spread of small bites from La Promenade.
The soundtrack of the evening came courtesy of The Al’s, whose rock and party favorites set the tone for a relaxed, feel-good night. While adults enjoyed the festivities, kids had their own adventure at a special Kids Party inside and around the Visitors Center. With pizza, live animal encounters, hands-on activities, and gooey s’mores, the younger crowd had just as much fun as the grown-ups.
Throughout the evening, several of TNC’s beloved Animal Ambassadors were also on display, giving guests a rare chance to see these creatures up close and learn more about the vital role they play in our education programs. The evening also featured raffles, a wine grab, and more opportunities to connect with nature and community.
“Campfire & Cocktails is special because it brings together both new friends and longtime supporters of TNC. It is a beautiful reminder of how nature connects us all,” shared TNC Executive Director Debora Davidson.
This year’s success was made possible thanks to the generosity of sponsors, in-kind donations, and the dedication of TNC’s board, staff, and volunteers. From clinking glasses to crackling fires, and with the forest bathed in beautiful late-summer light, Campfire & Cocktails was truly a night to remember. We are grateful to everyone who joined us and look forward to gathering again next year!
