For more than 60 years Tenafly Nature Center has nurtured an
appreciation for nature, been a leader in open-space preservation
and environmental education for our community and beyond.
Today, TNC focuses on providing hands-on nature experiences to over 26,000 adults and children annually through our environmental based programs. As a not-for-profit organization, tax-deductible donations are critical in helping us to fulfill our mission of environmental education and maintaining our over seven miles of trails in a nearly 400 acre forest preserve. Located in a densely populated area, Tenafly Nature Center is a sanctuary for human visitors – an island of green where bonds with nature can be renewed.
