Bellflower Faerie Trail

Step into a world of wonder at Tenafly Nature Center’s Bellflower Faerie Trail, where imagination and nature come together. Hidden among the trees, the fae have been busy creating tiny, whimsical homes along one of our forest trails, inviting visitors of all ages to slow down, explore, and discover the magic of the woods.

Begin your adventure by checking in at the admissions table, then follow the Red Loop Trail marked by red-triangle tagged trees. As you wander, keep your eyes open for delicate faerie houses tucked into tree hollows and roots, crafted from natural materials like sticks, bark, stones, and moss. Each one is fragile and thoughtfully placed, so we ask visitors to admire them gently and leave them undisturbed.

See how many faerie homes you can find as you stroll through this enchanting forest community, you may even spot tiny surprises along the way, like a post office, playground, or composting restroom. The Bellflower Faerie Trail is a magical way to spark creativity, curiosity, and a deeper appreciation for nature, perfect for families, children, and anyone young at heart.
