TNC TO GO After School Enrichment
TNC to Go after school enrichment programs are one hour programs that runs for 4-15 week sessions (generally once a week) depending on your school’s scheduling needs.
These fun interactive after school science enrichment lessons introduce kids to concepts in biology, earth sciences, and natural history. Sessions may include time for your students to get up close and face-to-face with our live animal ambassadors. Each series of themed curriculum covers integrated science topics and reinforces learning through hands-on experiments, projects, movement and stories.

Animal Investigators: Discover the Secrets of Wildlife! 3rd – 5th Grade

Grab your magnifying glass and get ready to explore the wild! In this hands-on afterschool series, young ecologists will dive deep into the fascinating world of animal adaptations through games, interactive activities, nature artifacts, and creative crafts. Each session features a visit from a LIVE Animal Ambassador, bringing the investigation to life and helping students uncover the secrets of the creatures that share our world.

Animal Tales: Wild Stories & Backyard Discoveries! Kindergarten – 5th Grade

Get up close with some of New Jersey’s coolest critters! Each week, students will meet live animal ambassadors and uncover the amazing adaptations that help reptiles, amphibians, mammals, and more survive in the wild. With crafts, hands-on activities, stories, and real artifacts, this fun-filled series brings nature to life—and helps kids discover the wild wonders hiding in their own backyards!

Eco Crafters: Creative Fun with a Green Twist! Kindergarten – 2nd Grade

Unleash your creativity while helping the planet! In this hands-on afterschool series, students transform recycled and natural materials into one-of-a-kind eco-friendly art projects. Each session inspires imagination, teaches sustainability, and shows kids how fun upcycling can be—turning everyday “trash” into treasure with a purpose!

Eco-Heroes: Be the Change, Protect the Planet! Kindergarten – 5th Grade

Calling all planet protectors! In this engaging afterschool series, students will explore how Earth’s climate is changing—and discover the everyday actions they can take to make a difference. Through hands-on activities, fun eco-games, and visits from live animal ambassadors, kids will gain the knowledge and inspiration to become real-life Eco-Heroes for our planet.

Earth Science Explorers: Hands-On Science, Big Discoveries! 3rd – 5th Grade

Curious minds wanted! In this exciting 8-week afterschool series, students become real scientists—asking questions, making hypotheses, and diving into hands-on experiments that uncover the secrets of our planet. From weather and water to gravity and geology, each session brings environmental science to life through fun, interactive learning. Perfect for young explorers who love to get curious, get messy, and make discoveries!

Nature Explorers: Discover, Play, and Learn Outdoors! Kindergarten – 2nd Grade

Get ready for wild adventures and up-close encounters with nature! In this fun-filled afterschool series, students explore fascinating topics like food webs, animal tracks, metamorphosis, and more. Each session includes hands-on activities, nature games, storytelling, real artifacts—and even LIVE animal visitors! It’s the perfect way for curious kids to connect with the natural world while learning through play and discovery.

TNC to Go After School Enrichment Pricing
  • For locations within Bergen County: $20 per session per student (includes all materials and supplies)
  • For locations within 1-hour driving distance of TNC: $25 per session per student (includes all materials and supplies)
  • A mileage charge of the current IRS rate per mile round trip is added to the program fee for each session date.
Each class requires a minimum of 7 students, and can have a maximum of 12 students per TNC educator. One parking space must be provided near the entrance of your location (if no parking is available at your site then a fee will be added to cover any associated garage fees).
