Children who love the outdoors will thrive at Tenafly Nature Center’s Summer Camp! Led by our professional Environmental Educators, campers spend their days exploring the forest, hiking along TNC’s scenic trails, and enjoying hands-on activities like nature-inspired crafts, games, and outdoor adventures. Along the way, they’ll learn to identify native plants and wildlife, discover how ecosystems and habitats work, and experience the wonders of our nearly 400-acre preserve. From snapping turtles and bullfrogs to wild turkeys, white-tailed deer, and soaring red-tailed hawks, there’s always something exciting to spot in the wild.
We welcome children of all abilities and partner closely with families to ensure every camper has a joyful, meaningful, and memorable summer experience!

Early Bird Discount: $70 off per week when families register by February 28, 2026. Payment must also be completed by February 28, 2026 to receive discount.

If a session is marked Full, you may add your child to the waitlist through the registration page. Please note that we will not be opening additional camp spaces. The only way to be moved off the waitlist is if a cancellation occurs. If a spot becomes available, we will contact you — however, we cannot predict when this may happen or guarantee that it will occur.
