Our Chipmunks, children entering Pre-K (age 4+) and Kindergarten, begin their nature journey with gentle hikes, sensory exploration, and fun hands-on activities that spark curiosity. Based in the cheerful Chipmunk Clubhouse next to the aviary, they enjoy a safe and welcoming environment designed just for young campers. Each group includes a maximum of 14 campers guided by two professional educators, ensuring plenty of personal attention and encouragement. Campers must be fully bathroom independent; staff do not enter restrooms with children.
Snapping Turtles
Snapping Turtles, our explorers entering 1st–2nd grade, spend their days discovering forest trails, observing wildlife, and unleashing creativity under our spacious covered pavilion. With access to picnic tables, art space, and chalk murals, this group enjoys the perfect blend of adventure and imagination. Each session includes a maximum of 18 campers led by two experienced educators, providing an active, supportive, and engaging camp experience every day.
Coyotes, campers entering 3rd–6th grade, embrace deeper outdoor challenges with longer hikes, hands-on environmental activities, and opportunities to build confidence in the woods. Their home base at the campfire ring offers an authentic wilderness feel and a sense of independence. Each group includes a maximum of 18 campers supervised by two dynamic professional educators, creating an exciting atmosphere where discovery and teamwork thrive.
7th & 8th Grade Jr. CIT Program
Our Jr. CITs (Counselors-in-Training) for rising 7th and 8th graders take on a unique blend of leadership and camp fun. Working alongside counselors, they support our youngest campers while gaining experience in mentorship, communication, and responsibility. Jr. CITs also enjoy hikes, crafts, and time with animal ambassadors, making this a balanced program that builds confidence and fosters growth. Each group benefits from close guidance by dedicated camp educators throughout the session.
