Tenafly Nature Center (TNC) is a vibrant, mission-driven nonprofit dedicated to protecting nearly 400 acres of preserved woodland in Bergen County, New Jersey, and inspiring others to do the same. Since 1961, we’ve been a leader in environmental education and open-space stewardship, fostering a deep appreciation for nature within our community and beyond. Each year, our passionate team of environmental educators delivers more than 1,700 programs, engaging over 28,000 participants of all ages.
